Print barcode labels for your products.

Product Labels

TechsBox can generate printable barcode labels for your products. Each label shows the product name, category, SKU barcode, and price — ready for a label printer or standard paper.

Printing Labels

  1. Navigate to Products → Labels (or go to /products/labels in the sidebar)
  2. You'll see a grid of labels for all your products
  3. Click Print Labels to open your browser's print dialog
  4. Print to a label printer or standard paper

Filtering Products

To print labels for specific products only, pass product IDs in the URL:

/products/labels?ids=product-id-1,product-id-2

If no IDs are specified, labels are generated for all products.

What's on Each Label

Each label includes:

  • Product name
  • Category (if set)
  • Barcode — generated from the product's SKU using Code 128 format
  • SKU text — printed below the barcode
  • Price — displayed at the bottom
ℹ️

Products without a SKU won't have a barcode on their label — they'll still show the name, category, and price.

Labels are arranged in a 3-column grid optimized for printing:

  • The sidebar, header, and other UI elements are automatically hidden when printing
  • Each label avoids page breaks (won't split across pages)
  • Borders are thin and clean for easy cutting

Tips

  • Use consistent SKUs across your products for reliable barcode scanning
  • Label printers that support standard web printing work best
  • For large batches, consider printing to PDF first and then sending to the printer
