The short version
Your data is yours. We don’t sell it, we don’t share it with advertisers, and we don’t mine it for anything beyond making techsbox work for you. If you leave, your data goes with you.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you sign up (email address, shop name) and the data you put into techsbox (customers, jobs, invoices). We also collect basic usage analytics to improve the product — things like which features get used, not what’s in your work orders.
How we use it
To run techsbox. That’s it. Your customer data powers your dashboard, your invoices go to your customers, and your job history is searchable by you. We use aggregate, anonymized usage data to decide what features to build next.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run techsbox: our hosting provider (Vercel), our database provider, and our payment processor (Stripe). We don’t sell your data to anyone. Period.
Data security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices. We’re a small team that takes this seriously — our customers trust us with their business data and we don’t take that lightly.
Your rights
You can export your data at any time. You can delete your account at any time. If you cancel, your data stays available for 30 days so you can grab what you need. After that, it’s permanently deleted.
